First foray into social media is dead

I shed a little tear yesterday for my first truly online social experience which has sadly passed away. The site in question is Social FM or Mercora as I new it back in 2005. This was probably one of the first applications/networking sites that got me interested in the social media space.

Mecora was founded in 2003 and Re-branded to compete with the likes of online music giants Last FM, it was a free music network that allows users to listen to a digital radio network of over three million songs with in personalised profile pages.
