Web 2.0 - What’s Hot and What’s Not

At Liberate Media we always like to keep an eye on the movers and shakers in the world of web 2.0.

Seth Godin has collated a fantastic Web 2.0 Traffic Watch List with some interesting findings.

All the usual suspects are at the top of the list, YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, Flickr etc.
Notable movers include Wordpress.com, which has moved from 951 in the list six months ago, to number 16. It’s no wonder really with the amount of excellent free plugins available to customise your Wordpress site.

It’s also worth scrolling down to the bottom of the list just to check out some of the other lesser-known sites, who may well become the stars of the future.

One site that i randomly came across is called Lime, which is a community where you can find all the ideas, information and resources to inspire you to live a healthier life and help make our planet greener.

I’ll probably need to revisit this site after a hectic Liberate Media week!

“There are many who claim to do good PR differently and then there’s Liberate Media. I found a higher degree of contacts and enthusiasm and then something far more interesting. They listened, challenged and questioned with a focus and knowledge that I’ve never experienced before.”
