We’re looking to expand the Liberate Media team with roles beginning ASAP. We would like to hear from experienced PR and social media consultants that would be interested in joining our team, with full time, part time and freelance positions available.
The PR & social media consultant role is a dynamic, hands-on position, focused on PR, social media and content development activities for a range of B2B, B2C and charity clients.
You will be expected to deliver honest, results-driven and strategic consultancy that will involve client handling and media liaison responsibilities, as well as research, writing and day-to-day campaign functions.
A genuine interest in and knowledge of the communications sector covering traditional PR and social tactics is essential, combined with a deep understanding of what grabs attention.
The PR & social media consultant’s mission is to push the boundaries of traditional PR, social media and content development, adapting techniques to reflect the way in which media and communications are evolving.
Ideally you should have 5+ years experience in PR and social media, with content development skills. Salary will be based on your experience and skillset.

- Proven writing ability
- Client handling skills
- A strong communication skills
- Strategic PR and brand communications understanding
- Social media profile management experience
- Good knowledge of relevant traditional and online media
- Self-motivation and ambition
- A results-orientated attitude
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Understanding of measurement and related communications metrics
- Excellent time management skills, self-motivation and ability to multi-task
